Hi Harry Syme,
No, it shouldn't be. Do you have a bunch of background programs running? If you do, this can cause a slow down producing the jerking your experiencing. Hope this helps, Shawn brink "Practice makes perfect, then you reinstall" Vista 64 Home Premium 1.5 Gig DDR2 533 Mhz (PC4200) RAM |

Check to make sure you are using the latest video drivers. NVidia Vista drivers v158.18 were released 6 days ago: 'NVIDIA Drivers' (nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp)
What resolution are you running at? Do you have dual monitors set up as well? Is the Aero interface enabled? If any of the above, then 128 MB of video ram may not be enough in that case Vista would compensate by using some of your system RAM for video memory and system RAM is a bit slower then video RAM. But I would try installing the latest video drivers to see if that resolves the problem. Scissor |
