I cant delete messages out of my outbox and because of this i cant send any emails, it wont let me move it to another folder, i have also tried eohelp.com/WMUtil and downloaded that program on to my computer but it wont clean out my outbox... would the only way to get this email deleted is to uninstall windows mail & reinstall it & start again? Please help - it is starting to drive me mad, i dont know what else to do... Thanks Cindy

I do not know if this will work on Vista Mail, but try to hold the Ctrl key, click on the message you want to delete and keep holding it down and clicking if there are more than one and then click Delete. It will cost nothing to try! "Cindy"

What was the problem with WMUtil? Did it not clear the outbox? What happened when you tried?

I've had same problem for a week, been searching communities with no luck until i found oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx clicked on it, followed instructions and could have cried when it said outbox messages deleted!!! And I'm a total novice Chrissie

Now that Microsoft has come out with an official fix for the stuck message in the Outbox problem, it is probably better to use that: support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
