Is there any way to set Windows mail to open a new e-mail in the full screen version rather than the minimize size so I do not have to maximize it each time? I am running Vista Home Premium.

Just open a new mail window, drag the edges of it with the mouse to the shape you want it to open every time, and close it.

Don't use Maximize. Drag the corners so that it fills the screen and close it that way.
