I really want one program to access my regular email , my newsgroups and my free email (hotmail). Outlook Express does a great job of it.. But if I'm going to just use Windows Mail, well the hotmail is out.. Hot Pop you need to pay for... Gmail is like Hotmails and cannot come into windows mail...?? correct ?? I like the hotmail for giving out to internet purchases and other that I don't want to give my regular email to..So what would be a good Hotmail alternative ... of course the other thing I like about Hotmail in Express was it's own folders... any possibility of achieving something like that ???? Gmail works fine with Windows Mail. You might check into the new Windows Live Mail Desktop beta, also. get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas It's very similar to Windows Mail, and I understand it does Hotmail also.

Supposedly, Windows Live Mail Desktop will do it all: get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas I don't use it myself, because I have no use for anything as undependable as Hotmail. Gary VanderMolen "dwolf"

I understand that Windows Live Mail Desktop currently has no ads, but that could be a temporary testing phase. It has its own peer support group: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop Gary VanderMolen "dwolf"

Windows Live Mail Desktop has ads. If you have a paid Hotmail or MSN Premium account then there won't be any in the released version. Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM fjsmjs.com "dwolf"

I downloaded a copy one week ago, and there are no ads. I understand there were ads in previous builds. Gary VanderMolen "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM"

I probably don't have the latest edition. I also don't have a paid account. I haven't used it for a while (I strongly dislike the program). I'm traveling right now and can't get to the machine that has WLMD. Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM fjsmjs.com
