can someone help me on burning vista to a disc. i want to make it just like the original coz i just downloaded windows vista and i'm tryin to burn it with nero 7 can sumone plz help me asap thnx in advance to who ever helps me

Well since plastic doesn't burn well. I find using an accelerant like charcoal lighter fluid does the trick. You will have the Windows Vista disc burning in no time.

Rick, It depends on where he got it from. If he downloaded it from MSDN/TechNet, it is a bootable ISO. If he bought the download from Windows Marketplace, that isn't an ISO. It comes as three separate files and has to be run from the desktop. -Michael "Rick Rogers"

If one downloads it, one must "...burn it to a disc." Given these facts, I would not jump to the conclusion that everyone who says they downloaded Vista and now want to burn a copy is a pirate. I, too, would not jump to the conclusion that everyone who said they downloaded Vista and want to burn a copy is doing so legitimately. In this case, though, I think one must give the poster the benefit of the doubt unless they add more information like "I just downloaded this off a site in China and want to burn a copy..." Lang |

Well... I see in another person's post that the downloads from MS are run from the desktop and are not ISO's. An incorrect assumption on my part. That still doesn't mean that the OP of this thread is a pirate. They could be wanting to burn a DVD without understanding that they can't. Innocent until proven guilty, iow... Lang |
