WINDOWS VISTA. I deleted a programme in error and the result has been that the desktop icon for explorer 7 has disappeared and the internet link associated with the START panel doesn't link but he green globe has remained there. Explorer 7 is now not listed now under the programmes installed. I saved a favourite explorer page which is how I have accessed the internet. The quick launch option doesn't have explorer available now and only shows QUICK TIME PLAYER. HOW CAN I RESTORE BOTH THE EXPLORE ICON AND SHORTCUT LINK FOR THE START PANEL WITH GREEN GLOBE? Thank you for your help. billy boeing 218

Navigate to Program Files>Internet Explorer. Right click iexplore.exe, select send to, select desktop. You can then drag the desktop icon to the Quick Launch bar and to the start menu. Jim |
