I keep getting this error speratically when I close different applications, like Excel or PowerPoint or Explorer. Anyone have any idea as to what it is and how to fix?

I keep getting this error as well. Not only when I close programs but also explorer windows.
It says :
A runtime error has occured. Do you wish to debug ?
Line:680 Error: could not complete the operation due to error c004f012
