Hi I have a new Gateway computer and I have McAfee Security and it has Vista. I was able to do things just fine and then suddenly I am unable to get to my email with Yahoo. I did a systems restore and that didn't work, I re-installed McAfee, I uninstalled Yahoo.... Nothing has worked. So then I went to open a hotmail to see if I could use it. Same thing... When I go to the page to open my yahoo and I try to log in it just keep loading and loading forever, it acts like it is starting then stopping and starting and stopping and just never getting past the verificatgion of the log in password.
I have tried to contact Gateway and they are not a lot of help. Please, I am lost I have no idea what to try next???

i have encountered this problem with vista since from february 28th. in addition to hotmail/yahoo i am also not able to access random websites. i was under the impression that this was a virus/malware/spyware or something of that genre. but all my attempts of scanning with various anti virus / anti malware / anti spyware have not produced any positive results.
i wonder if this is because of the latest updates i have downloaded from microsoft. i am sure if this is the case others in this forum would have encountered this.
please let the forum know if anyone has encountered this problem and if so how this was solved.
