When you press alt + tab it automatically selects the next window, where as when you press window+tab it remains on the active window. So, to get to the same window using alt tab, you only press tab once. To get to the same window using windows tab you have to hit the tab key twice. Is there a way to make flip 3d (windows tab) worrk in the same way as alt+tab, as it's difficult for me to make the switch.

Not that I know of. The assumption is that if you press Alt-Tab, you want to change windows. The improvement is that hitting Alt-Tab a second time, goes back to the window you were in instead of advancing to the next open application. Windows key+Tab, if you have flip3D available to you, will stay in the current window unless you select a different one. Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows Shell/User |

Hi Gupta, The behavior is a little different between ALT+TAB and Windows Logo Key+TAB. However, if you're having trouble navigating in Flip 3D, you might find it helpful to use the arrow keys or the scroll wheel on your mouse to cycle forward or back through the stack of open windows. Or you can also click on a window within the stack with your mouse while in Flip 3D.
