I tunes doesn't work with vista, it seems. Does anyone know the solution??

Works fine for me, I must also say Vista is great as well, I have had 1 problem to date & that has been fixed by an updated driver....better then when XP was released.

Download the latest version of iTunes - that works fine on Vista. You also could have found this out by doing a simple search on the Apple web site about Vista support under iTunes, there is a whole article about this. see docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305042

Barney make sure you haven't changed your default music folder, that will cause ITunes not to work. I know I had the same problem.

HAs anyone had the issue after installing iTunes that it disable the CD/DVD R, RW drives?
Uninstall iTunes and the drives came back.

YES. I googled around and there is a registry tweak. you have to delete several keys under the itunes registry. after applying the tweak you will get an error opening itunes, but once you bypass that it works great and you get your CD drives back. sorry I don't have the link to the tweak, but it wasn't hard to find on google.
