Hi, I was playing around with Ease of Access Center on the logon screen and enabled Narrator. Now, everytimes I log on into my account, Narrator will be started. This only happen to my account only. All other accounts are not afffected. I tried in vain to disable it but so far to no success. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

One way is to click the Start button and type msconfig and hit enter. go to the startup tab and you should see an entry for narrator. uncheck the checkbox and hit ok. restart and when you do, a notice will pop up saying you are using a troubleshooting tool. click "dont show me this again" and it wont pop up anymore. Narrator should no longer start when you log in.

That's the problem. It's not there. That's why I posted the question here. No reference to Narrator at all. "Victor"

Nicholas Open Contral Panel/Ease of Access Center and select "Use the computer without a display" remove the check mark from "Turn On Narrator." Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Nicholas Poh"

I tried that. There is no check mark on "Turn On Narrator". Anyway, I solved the problem by using the registry. I go to, HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Accessibility Clear the value for Configuration and I solved the problem. Thanks for all the help guys. "Ronnie Vernon MVP"
