Hello, I've not been able to find a method to use the /for /on switches effectively from the vssadmin command in Vista Ultimate. I'd like to:
vssadmin create ShadowStorage /On=E: /For=C: /Maxsize=3GB I'll soon get a second drive and use it for all shadows. Is this at all possible? Shawn Burton SQLfreak |

No, this isn't possible, despite the fact that the syntax example indicates it might be. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Let me clarifythis isn't possible on *Vista*. I believe this will work on Server, however. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
