I have been running both Mail programs on my machine (not at the same time) and find that WLM is much faster in reading mail and newsgroups. Also, when switching between news groups the marking as read and loading the new news group is much faster. WLM also shows all subscribed news groups in the right pane if the news server is highlighted in the left pane. WLM also shows a task box which shows the progress of the downloads. Is this because WLM is more native to Windows Vista and WLMD is an add in?
Just some observations and questions.

Windows Mail is the only program that marks read in all crossposted groups a read post.
It's what I've always wanted.
Even if a post is great I don't want to read it 5 times.
Deep joy.

What's WLM? Are you referring to Windows Mail, Vista's default Mail Client?
