I have window mail and have just changed ISP. I have two email address one of which is a business one. My home one seems to send & receive mail ok. the business one receives mail but every time I send mail i get an error code saying my ISP needs authentication. they assure me i don't. i had enough help!!!!!!

Check the settings on the problem account under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers and Advanced. Make sure the settings are correct for the SMTP server name and outgoing port. steve "alternatejan"

It would be helpful if you copied the entire error message and posted it here. With a few exceptions, you cannot send mail through a server if at that moment you are not obtaining your connectivity from that provider. So, while at home you must send through your home ISP's mail server, not your office server. Gary VanderMolen "alternatejan"
