What... enforce top posting? Apparantly Yahoo webmail can be accessed via POP depending on which territory it belongs and/or whether it is a paid for version or free. I was told that the USA free Yahoo does not support POP.

I access Yahoo free email via Windows Mail POP, but my Yahoo is Singapore. No idea about USA Yahoo.

I am trying to set up email so that I can send articles etc. Driving me nuts - how can I find out whether its POP or what ever the outgoing one means - I am blonde - and that doesn't help!

Most email account providers have help pages for setting up their id. Here for instance is the BT Yahoo version from the UK.
help.yahoo.com/l/uk/bt/mail/yahoomail/pop/index.html
Although Vista Windows Mail isn't listed there I managed to set up a BT Yahoo account by following the Outlook Express instructions...

From what I understand, North American residents are the only unlucky ones when it comes to free Yahoo POP mail. I don't understand the rationale for that discrimination. At least there is always Gmail for us Yankees. :-) Gary VanderMolen
