Why when I receive mail it goes to my, or my wife's account. when they are addressed to the other accounts and vice versa, This does not always happen, I think I have set up the accounts correctly. any ideas?

If the accounts are aliases for the same mailbox on the server then the first to access will download all the mail that's there.

Open your account and you should have two addresses, make your address as default, hope that works.

We need some more details. Are both email accounts set up on the same computer, under the same Windows user login? If so, you will need to separate the mail by email account using message rules. If you need help with that, let us know.

It sounds like you are still confusing a login account for a Windows user with the login for an email account mail server. I'm going to assume that both your and your wife's email accounts are checked on the same Windows Mail instance. You will need to go into Tools > Message Rules > Mail > New, and the wizard will guide you through the creation of a new message rule. You should wind up with two rules looking something like this:
1. Where the message is from the 'His' account move it to the Husband folder and stop processing more rules.
2. Where the message is from the 'Her' account move it to the Wife folder and stop processing more rules.
Hope this helps.
