running WMC under Vista Ultimate 64 When I "add" folder through the Library Setup, I can only view the Music entries (mp3's) via the Video Library. I can't play them, but I can see them. There is nothing showing in the Music Library, regardless of how many new folders I set up to be added. (Apart from CD's that I own, and they copy over OK) I've added the default Music folder (even tho it's supposed to be added automatically), plus other folders full of MP3s. Any suggestions of what to look for/do/hit? I have a huge mp3 library that is just not usuable in MC. Thanks. Paul

I'm a little confused - are these files local or on a different machine...... ? Speaking for myself only. See zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. "Paul Graham"

They are all local files. I've also noticed that there is nothing in the Music Library of Windows Media Player. The info box says its searching for files in the background, but it never seems to find any. I try to add folders in the Add To Library option, but after I've click OK and go back into the same option, it has cleared the folder entries. "zachd [MSFT]"

Ah - that specifically should mean that you need to reset your Media Library zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary and then you should be in working shape again. =\ Speaking for myself only.
