How do I keep Windows Mail active, how do I make it go to the task bar when I close it so it keeps running?

Minimize it, don't close it. Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail. |

Like any Windows program, click on the minimize button instead of closing it. Gary VanderMolen "dad2twnz"

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I would like to keep it active in the bottom right part of the screen next to the clock. I don't know what that area is called. "Gary VanderMolen" wrote:

That used to be called the system tray, but Microsoft now calls it the notification area. WinMail by itself won't minimize to the notification area, but someone recently developed a helper utility which supposedly does just that. Sorry, I don't have the URL. Gary VanderMolen "dad2twnz"
