When trying to open a Works documents. I'm getting a pop up error stating 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.' How do I do this? I had already installed Works 8.5 on the computer.

Save one then right click on it and select Open With.... Then select Choose Program and make sure it's associated with what you want.
Having direct access to the file types isn't there in Vista. You can edit the info in the registry if you're up to date on it.
