If I have a person or address in my address book how can I , when I am sending out an email, when I start to type the name or address in just have it all appear? What is the point of having it in my address book if it will not recognize it and automatically appear like in my old outlook express?!
Thanks, Ann Baird

Apparently this is a bug with imported contacts, they will work after you have used the contact once? You could of course select the To: next to the address line and add the address from the resulting dialogue box.

Lots of luck on that one. I found that mine works some of the time on some of the names. No rhyme nor reason as to when it will work. I now just put all addresses on the BCC line and do so by double clicking on the BBC and then clicking on the individual names in the screen that opens. Very annoying for a new program. And then I think it only saves a limited number. I don't know yet what that number is.

Here's what I've found that works. Type in the first 3 letters of the email address and then hit the Tab key. This works. But, depending on how your address book is sorted can make a difference. For instance, if you have a person named John Smith and his email address is johns whereever.com, try typing joh and hitting the Tab key and see if it fills in properly. If it doesn't try typing smi (for Smith) and that may work. I've been through lots of frustration on this issue but I think I've finally figured it out as described above. Let the group know if it works for you too.
