Whenever I either download a song or put on mf my CD's on Media Player it plays great until the last 30 seconds of the song.
When it gets to this part it goes through a 5 second period where the song jumps and sounds like a scratchy CD. When I download the song on to a CD and play it on a CD player it is fine. Can anyone offer me any suggestions on why this is happening or what to do as it is driving me mad!!! Thanks! |

I know this doesn't help, but i'm having the same problem. I did find a troubleshooting question that said it could be that media player doesn't play mp3 well and to find the file Ctmp3.acm and rename it to Ctmp3.bak. (They say its a Creative PlayCentre MP3 decoder). Unfortunately i can't even find this file and i know it happens to more than just mp3, it happens to any wma files as well. "Twocentpiece" wrote:

Found this solution for my problem, by chriscl, in another thread called "Media Player audio playback issue." You can fix this problem as follows. Thanks to jazacoop. 1. go to control panel,sound,speakers/headphones. 2. Under "Enhancements", select "Disable all enhancements" 3. click apply and ok You have now fixed the "hiccup" problem. chriscl "illafergub" wrote:
