Wondering if anybody else has this problem.
Wandering Gadgets.
I download and install a gadget, add it to sidebar, bring up the sidebar to desktop, un-dock the gadget to the desktop, and close the sidebar, leaving the gadget as a desktop item. I place this gadget in the upper left corner of desktop.
Screen-saver kicks in when the computer is idle, just like it's supposed to.
I come back to the computer, give the mouse a shake to disable the screen-saver, and my gadgets have moved to the left about 2 inches. They are all in the same position horizontally, just not vertically.
Tried enabling both Auto Arrange and Align to Grid, (right-click desktop, View, check Align to Grid and Auto Arrange), but neither keeps the dern things in place?
Fickle Icons.
Secondly, after either restart, or the above mentioned screen-saver/return to computer scenario, some of my desktop icons have reverted back to the default white folder with the blue E icon. I have to right click these, and re-assign the icons.
Any suggestions?
